About the mastermind of the arms licensing racket, Altaf Hussain
Altaf Hussain came to the city of Hyderabad, in the year 2013, to earn a livelihood. He joined Grace Management Security Service and later on, he was appointed as a gunman in the SIS cash service in the west Marredpally.
He purchased a double-bore gun by using a fake arms license in Rajouri, by bribing the local magistrate’s office.
The police chief said that as Altaf became familiar with the processes involved in license-making, he ganged up with Hafeezuddin, a stamp vendor in Secunderabad. Both of them started making fake gun licenses by affixing fake seals and indulging in forgery. Â
