Actress Alia Bhatt and actor Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together.
One of the recently married favorite couples Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor took everyone by surprise when they announced that they would be parents and welcoming their first child this year. The couple recently tied the knot in a private ceremony in April. Actress Alia Bhatt took to Instagram on Monday morning and shared a picture of herself with Ranbir from a hospital, along with a picture of a lion family, and wrote, “Our baby…coming soon!”
After she made the announcement, several celebs congratulated them, and her Instagram flooded with warm wishes. Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Tiger Shroff, Karan Johar, Rakul Preet, Mouni Roy with many others flooded Alia Bhatt with congratulatory messages after she announced her pregnancy.
Priyanka Chopra wished her and wrote, “Congratulations honey!! Yaaaay! Can’t wait,” while filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Instagram story and wrote, “So much love for them, my baby is going to be a mother! Can’t express my feelings…so so excited! Love you both.”
Tiger Shroff and Ishan Khattar sent their warm wishes and congratulated too, along with Farhan Akhtar, Vaani Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Bipasha Basu, and Akansha Ranjan, Esha Gupta, and Shashank Khaitan.
While Mouni Roy commented on the post and wrote, “Immensely happy!”, Rakul Preet also wrote, “Oh my my, congratulations!” Parineeti Chopra wrote, “Congratulations lovers!”
Paparazzi congratulated Neetu Kapoor and said, “Jug Jug Jeeyo to her,” and then she said, “Pehle Shamshera”. While Jug Jug Jeeyo is Neetu’s comeback, Ranbir will be seen on screen in Shamshera after almost four years. She also thanked them for their warm wishes.
While Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor who is soon going to be a Bua also sent her warm wishes and dropped heart and kissing emojis. Shaheen Bhatt shared a photo of Ranbir and Alia and wrote, “Mom and dad…” Alia’s mom Soni Razdan wrote, “Congratulations mama and papa lion.”
Meanwhile, the couple will be seen in ‘Brahmastra’, which is their first film together after their wedding. It also stars Amitabh Bacchan and Mouni Roy.
