As the film Student of the year completes 10 year, students Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan too completed their 10 yrs in Film Industry.
The actors expressed their joy at completing ten years on their personal social media platform Instagram, and thanked Karan Johar for the opportunity.

Alia Bhatt appeared in numerous films, including Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, 2 States, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Badri ki Dulhaniya, Love You Zindagi, Raazi, Gullyboy, Brahmastra, and RRR in Telugu.
Her co-star Siddharth Malhotra took to his Instagram. He wrote, ” My journey in Hindi cinema has completed a decade today. I am grateful for all the love and support I have received from my fans who’ve been rooting for me throughout the years.

Siddharth Malhotra, in the span of 10 years, has released films like Brothers, Kapoor and Sons, Ek Villain, Baar Baar Dekho, Shershaah, Marjaavan, A Gentlemen, Hasee toh Phasee and many more.
Varun Dhawan too released released films like Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, Badri ki Dulhaniya, Kalank, Sui Dhaaga, Coolie No 1, Judwaa, Main tera Hero, Jug Jug Jeeyo, Dilwale, Badlapur, ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D and many more.
Student of the Year Marks 10
Karan Johar’s directorial with the then new star cast Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer Student of the Year has marked 10 yrs in the Industry.
The Johar directorial film was released back in 2012 with the debudants stars alongside many versatile actors.
Taking this as a grand success, the director thanked the entire star cast and fans and production crew for the film completing 10 years.
Karan Johar on his Instagram thanked his actors, he wrote, “Down the years with my students of every year! So proud of their cinema journey! It’s no Raaz(I) that they have mastered the ABCD of their craft and emerged as Shershaahs of goodness and talent! Love you! ♥️ #10yearsofsoty”
He also told the story of creating the film, he wrote, “SOTY started as me making a “holiday film” … A film that certainly wasn’t intended to move any cinematic mountains but a film that was young, fun and entertaining … what I didn’t realise then that this film would give me so much more than memories or a commercial success… would give so much than a film in my directorial archives… this film gave me three of my most defining relationships
Sid, Varun and Alia went on to become my family….besides mom they are the three people I think I talk to every single day… I never knew way back then that I would have children of my own… but my first protective parental feeling was for all three of them… I love you SID! Varun dhawan shared the trailer to his new film ‘Bhediya’ alongside Kriti Sanon, Siddhharth Malhotra’ upcoming movie Thank God alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh will be released on Diwali and Alia Bhatt is now on maternity leave after her latest release Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
As time flies the actors are busy in their own affairs and films for their future projects.
