Luxury fashion brand DIOR, under the umbrella of LVMH, has announced the launch of a new exhibition titled ‘Mul Mathi’ that showcases the works of prominent Indian artists Madhvi and Manu Parekh.
The exhibition is a continuation of DIOR’s longstanding tradition of collaborating with fine artists to explore new techniques and materials and push the boundaries of fashion.
With over 75 brands in its portfolio, including renowned names such as Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Bulgari, Sephora, and Dom Perignon, LVMH is the world’s largest luxury goods company, known for its commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability. DIOR is headquartered in Paris, France.
It’s no secret that the brand has roots in India, in the 1950s, Christian Dior created an Indian culture-inspired collection. It featured the country’s inclination towards vibrant colours and textiles. The collection aptly reflected and presented Indian culture.Â
The exhibition was launched on the evening of March 29th, 2024, and was attended by prominent art connoisseurs, including young and discerning art collectors Abeer and Aashna Abrol, accompanied by their father Vivek Abrol.
The attendees sipped cocktails and engaged in meaningful and fun conversations while enjoying the rich cultural experience.
