Fashion sense with-DIOR
In Mumbai’s renowned the Gateway of India, Dior debuted their women’s pre-fall 2024 collection. Built-in 1911 to honor King George V and Queen Mary’s visit, it is a historic archway that can be seen on the city’s waterfront. The occasion honored India’s handcrafted heritage, which would have a lasting impact on the global fashion industry. A 12-foot-tall embroidered Toran, the Hindu door hanging that customarily welcomes visitors, was draped over the archway. The event was held in front of the stunning 46-foot Toran, located below the Gateway of India, along with a runway that was bordered with flower patterns inspired by traditional Indian art that was produced in association with the Chanakya Ateliers and Chanakya School of Craft.Â
What’s FENDIÂ how about their fashion sense…..
A noteworthy occasion that was both physically magnificent and culturally significant was the Fendi Great Wall of China show. The performance, which had the Great Wall of China as its spectacular background, was the first of its sort to be seen from the moon, which speaks volumes about how large and ambitious it was. The show honored the Silk Route. A runway was created along the wall’s amazing 1,500-mile length, where 88 models exhibited the luxurious couture creations of Fendi.
PIERRE CARDIN
The magnificent Dunhuang Desert Show by Pierre Cardin, which featured his spring/summer 2008 collection, was staged in the breathtaking Gobi Desert. The thin white runway provided an unrivaled environment to exhibit fashion on the brink of infinity as it wound through the dunes of China’s Mingsha Mountain near Dunhuang. The models, who were organized to resemble a caravan of traders, came in a customary procession, reflecting the routes traveled by ancient traders traversing the desert.
French fashion JACQUEMUSÂ
The most recent menswear and womenswear collection from Jacquemus was showcased in an enthralling fashion presentation. The designer created an exquisite background that mirrored the brand’s young French attitude to mark the 10th anniversary of his label by rolling out a pink, 1/3 mile-long runway that wound through endless rows of fragrant lavender bushes. The models moved gracefully around the lovely field while sporting Jacquemus’s typical loose, fitted suits, eccentric art-heel shoes, and colorful, big bags.Â
CHANEL
In the Grand Palais in Paris, Chanel‘s Cruise 2017–2018 collection made a captivating trip to ancient Greece. With an earthy environment of ancient Greek columns evoking the Parthenon and the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, the venue was painstakingly built to bring visitors to a realm of antiquity. The color scheme of The Modernism of Antiquity spanned from shimmering golds, terracotta, and blacks to delicate whites. Laurel wreaths, layers of long necklaces, gold cuffs, and other accessories complemented the traditional styling and antique sculptures that served as the collection’s inspiration.
