Mismatched, web series’, fame Rohit Saraf revealed in a recent interview about Hrithik Roshan’s dedication to take him in the film “Vikram Vedha”.
Rohit Saraf, after his Mismatched season 1 did great success on the OTT platform, got his deserving fame and success.
Shooting Rescheduled
In a recent interview, Rohit told how stressed he was as the shooting dates of the Mismatched season 2 and Vikram Vedha were almost the same.
Rohit, for once, thought that he won’t be able to take up Vikram Vedha because of his busy schedule with the shoots of Mismatched season 2. Vikram Vedha stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.
He then added how Hrithik Roshan helped him in getting the film. Krish’s leading actor called the director of Mismatched, Akarsh Khurana, and told him that he needed Rohit to be a part of Vikram Vedha. Hrithik further told Rohit’s director that he would be a great fit for this role.
Akarsh initially managed the schedule but as soon as Hrithik realized that managing the schedule will not work, and the entire schedule of Mismatched couldn’t be canceled, Hrithik postponed the entire schedule of Vikram Vedha for 5 days. Hrithik had a strong belief that Rohit can pull off the role very effectively.
Rohit’s reaction to this
After knowing about the phone call made by Hrithik to get him, Saraf couldn’t confide in himself. He told himself that even if this film doesn’t work out for him, he’s completely ok with that, he confessed in the interview.
This was because of Hrithik’s gesture to make Saraf a part of the film. And, this is a kind of a big deal to him.
What is “Vikram Vedha” all about?
Proceeding to know more about Vikram Vedha, it is a Hindi remake of a 2017 Tamil movie of the same name directed by Pushkar and Gayathri.
Saraf’s Fame
Rohit Saraf, got into the limelight after his Mismatched season 1, starring Prajakta Koli as the heroine and Rohit Saraf as the hero. He made his Bollywood debut in the film Dear Zindagi (2016).
After his debut, he never looked back and was also a part of the comedy-drama Hichki (2018), the biopic The Sky is Pink (2019), and Ludo (2020).
But, it was only after his Mismatched web series was released on the OTT platform Netflix which made the audience (especially girls) left gushing over his looks, since then. Saraf has a fan following among the girls so much that it even earned him the tag of “National Crush of India”.
When he was interrogated about this title, he answered that he has secretly started enjoying it.
