According to the sources, India reported 1326 fresh cases of COVID cases in the last 24 hours. As of now, the new total of COVID cases stands at 17,912. Though the restriction and curbs have been lifted from various states of India and also at the national level as a whole, there still continue to be fresh COVID cases coming up every day.
The total number of COVID tests till yesterday stood at 83,167. India has reported quite a lot of fresh cases from a few of the states of Maharashtra.

The death rate for COVID-19 has risen by 8 deaths in a day. Out of which 5 deaths occurred in Kerala. The total death toll rose to 5,29,024 to date as of 8 am, October 31.

Odisha:
In Odisha, the fresh cases rose by 13,36,132, which means 15 more active cases have been registered. Out of 15, 2 are children. The death rate remains at 9203. There was no fatality in the last 24 hours.
Thane, Maharashtra
Thane district in Maharashtra has reported 55 new cases of COVID in the last 24 hours. The new total of active cases rose to 7,46,690, on Monday. The first case was detected on Sunday.
As per the sources, there are nearly 350 cases of COVID-19 in the Thane district. Thane is a part of the Mumbai metropolitan district. There was no fatality reported officially in the last 24 hours. The current death toll in Thane stands at 11,965, said one of the officials of the Mumbai Metropolitan region.
Mizoram and Uttar Pradesh
There were three deaths reported in the last 24 hours from both states.
