Jeremy Renner will attend the premiere of ‘Rennervention’ which will happen on April 11 in Los Angeles. This will be Renner’s first public event after his snow-plowing accident. Four episodes of his show will be streaming on April 12 on Disney+.
Jeremy Renner is famous for his role as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is one of the original 6 avengers which includes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). He was nominated for Academy Awards for best actor for his performance in ‘Hurt Locker (2008).
The Accident
On January 1, 2024, Jeremy Renner met with an accident. He was crushed by a snow plowing machine as he was trying to save his nephew. He had suffered blunt chest trauma and broken more than 30 bones. He had surgery and he became stable throughout his recovery. He wrote a message on Instagram thanking everyone for their prayers and kind words.
Around January 16th, he was discharged from the hospital. He tweeted about watching his show, the second season of ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ from home with his family. His co-actors, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, and Evangeline Lilly were all wishing him a great recovery. Evangeline Lilly visited Renner expecting him to be in bed instead she walked into him on his wheelchair talking and laughing with his friends. Renner shared with Lilly that he had a traumatic near-death experience, and he was conscious during the whole accident.
On March 26th, Renner posted a video on Instagram where he was walking on an anti-gravity treadmill with assistance. He is doing the walking motion all by himself.
Rennervention
Rennervation is an upcoming documentary mini-series starring Jeremy Renner which will be streaming on Disney+ on April 12.
Renner said of the series, he has been on this road for many years, and he started this in his neighborhood by making vehicles for individuals in need. Yet a few years ago, he asked himself, “How can I increase this and have a greater impact on the entire community?”, that is what this show accomplishes. He can’t wait for the world to see this because it’s one of his passions and what’s helped him the most during recovery.
It is a four-episode mini-series where Jeremy Renner collaborates with 4 different actors to build them a unique purpose vehicle that works in service of local communities. Renner will be covering four places in his journey from

- Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
- Rajasthan, India
Renner will all be visited throughout the course of the television series as he teams up with his crew of professional builders to find decommissioned vehicles that may be refurbished to fulfill a new purpose. He will be collaborating with Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Hudgens, Sebastian Yatra (Encanto), and Anil Kapoor, and a local partner organization, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Uva Jagriti Sansthan, to convert into something that will be helpful for the community like a delivery van into a mobile water treatment facility.
