Brahmastra, the highly anticipated film, was announced in 2017. It took five years to make the film. The movie was initially scheduled for 2019, but later it was pushed back to 2020, and now finally, Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat https://tdznkwjt9mxt6p1p8657.cleaver.live/alia-bhatt-sings-brahmastra-song-kesariya/, is released this Friday. The film overcame many obstacles, including boycotts, protests, and negative social media reviews. However, Kangana Ranaut’s comments against the movie caught the public’s attention and put her back in the spotlight.
KANGANA RANAUT SLAMMED TEAM BRAHMASTRA
The Manikarnika actress slammed the film, its stars (Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt), and its producers (Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji). She claimed in her Instagram stories that director Ayan Mukerji burned “600 crores to ashes” and tried to offend religious sentiments. Furthermore, she claims that the film’s title was changed from Jalaluddin Rumi to Shiva at the last minute due to the success of Baahubali.
“Everyone who called Ayan Mukerji a genius should be imprisoned right now,” she adds. “He took 12 years to make this film. He replaced 14 DOPs. He shot for more than 400 days. He changed 85 ADs. He burned 600 crores.” It’s not manipulation if they’re called geniuses; it’s a well-planned strategy to call them din ko raat and raat ko din.”
Later, when she heard that theatre chains PVR and Inox had lost 800 crores, the actress called it “groupism.” “Their groupism is working against them now, from the wedding to the baby PR to keeping KRK in jail to buying reviews and tickets. They can do anything fraudulently, but they can’t make good honest films.”
In the meantime, Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in the films Tiku Weds Sheru and Emergency.
