He made clear in his latest and the last tweet on his Twitter handle that he is doing this for the sake of his own mental health and deleting/deactivating his Twitter handle is one step closer in achieving that great mental health.

October 10, also marks the World Mental Health Day. This might also be one of the reasons behind his withdrawal from the twitter platform. This is just another assumption that could be made by us to understand what could be bothering the B-TOWN filmmaker that he chooses to quit.
Although neither has he mentioned anything related to the World Mental Health Day nor has he given a hint that he is deleting or deactivating his Twitter handle because of the World Mental Health Day.

Karan has told Bollywood Hungama about his stand on the prevalent ‘negativity’ in some Bollywood figures. As a matter of fact, he has not disclosed any names.

He further adds that he is ready to accept the criticism but he thinks that it should not lead to some point of negativity. He says that he feels bad about how people of the same industry make the films of their own industry being looked down upon.
