Kareena Kapoor says she and Hrithik Roshan make an amazing duo together on screen but due to a bad script of too many stars but couldn’t get attention.
Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were last seen together in their fourth movie Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, released in 2003. The story was about Abhishek Bachchan becoming the third wheel in their love story and what happens after they find out about each other.

The movie couldn’t make up to the expectations and the collection was not that good at the box office. The audience appreciated the pairing of both stars despite the performance of the movie wasn’t that good.
While promoting her fourth movie with Hrithik, Kareena spoke about their chemistry with him. She also said about her plans for Hollywood and her dream to work with Steven Spielberg.
At the start of both stars’ careers, there were rumours about them dating but Kareena break her silence and denied that the rumours are not true.
The duo had previously worked together in three films – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Yaadein (2001), and Mujhse Dosti Karoge (2002). During the start of their Bollywood career, there were also rumours of Kareena and Hrithik dating; which Kareena had denied.
Kareena Kapoor talked about her duo with Hrithik
Going through the old interview with India Today when Kareena was promoting Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Kareena made a statement about her and the Hrithik duo. She said it was her first ‘full-throttle’ movie opposite Hrithik Roshan.
Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have done four films together such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Yaadein (2001), Mujhse Dosti Karoge (2002) and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon which was backed by Sooraj Barjatya.
She added all of their previous projects either had bad scripts or too many stars due to which their chemistry couldn’t catch the full attention of the audience or the storyline was not letting them together at the end of the film.
She made a statement in an interview with India Today which reads, “I think we (Hrithik and her) make an excellent pair and I would like to call this (Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon) the first full-throttle Hrithik-Kareena film. Yaadein had a bad script, in K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham) we weren’t noticed because there were so many stars (including Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan), and in Mujhse Dosti Karoge I did not get Hrithik (the film also starred Rani Mukerji).”
Kareena talked about her plans for Hollywood
Kareena also expressed her happiness by saying that she was very happy doing Hindi films, not had no regrets about not moving to Hollywood or doing English films, unlike some other actors. She was talking about the time when Aishwarya Rai was shining in the headlines for her lead role in a Hollywood movie named Bride and prejudice. The movie was released in the year 2004 got backed by Gurinder Chadha. The film was an Indianised adaptation of Jane Austen’s, Pride and Prejudice.
In the ongoing interview when Bebo got a question about her future plans about Hollywood or doing English films, Kareena replied, “I don’t understand the word crossover. I am happy doing Hindi films, thank you. I can’t put on an accent and act in a Hollywood film. Except, if I am offered a film by Steven Spielberg.”
Meanwhile, according to a Bollywood Life report earlier this year, there are rumours that Kareena and Hrithik were offered an opportunity to work together on the big screen after hiatus of a very long time. Neither the makers nor the actors have given clarification on the rumours.

Kareena Kapoor is promoting her upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir khan which is all set to release on upcoming Thursday, 11 August.
On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan has plenty of projects with he on which is currently working such as Vikram Vedha with Saif Ali Khan, and the other one is Fighter with Deepika Padukone.
