The Save Soil movement has been initiated by Sadhguru, a yogi, and a visionary. Save Soil is a global movement launched by Sadhguru, to address the soil crisis by bringing altogether people from around the world to stand up and creating awareness for Soil Health, and supporting leaders all nations to institute national policies and actions toward increasing the organic content in cultivable Soil.

On the event of World’s Environment Day Prime Minister
Narendra Modi had attended a program on ‘Save Soil Movement’ in New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion of World Environment Day. He addressed the gathering during the programme about the soil, importance of soil, of the global movement started by Jagadish “Jaggi” Vasudev, popularly known as Sadhguru.
On a mission to save the world’s soils from extinction or degradation, the Save Soil campaign reached Bonn Following a round of discussions, Sadhguru joined the UNCCD Executive Secretary Ibrahim Thiaw for a live chat which was streamed across the UNCCD platform
Three States of India has Signed the Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) with Isha Foundation/Outreach to save soil.
Gujrat becomes the first state to Sign MoU with Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation to the Save soil: –
The Gujarat Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Isha foundation in Ahmedabad in order to conserve soil in the state making Gujarat the first Indian state to join the global movement initiated by Sadhguru to save soil. Addressing the gathering, Gujarat CM , Bhupendra Patel spoke about the importance of soil for human survival and assured that “Gujarat will take the lead in conserving the soil and all the other organisms which are crucial for the existence of human on this planet”.
Rajasthan becomes the Second state to Sign MoU with Sadhguru’s Isha outreach to the Save soil: –
In the Save Soil programme held in Jaipur, Rajesh Chand Meena, state minister for panchayat raj and rural development, Lalchand Kataria, state agriculture minister with Sadhguru, Founder of Isha Foundation, called for instant action to be called off to save the state and country’s agricultural land from becoming barren. Kataria and Sadhguru Signed Up MoU to save the soil of the state by making farmer and soil friendly agriculture policies.
Uttar Pradesh becomes the third state to Sign MoU with Sadhguru’s Isha outreach to Save soil: –
Addressing in the event in Lucknow with Sadhguru, Chief minister of UP Yogi Adityanath said: “Considering the fertility of our land and the availability of water resources, the Rally for Rivers and Save Soil campaigns could be very important, beneficial and inspirational for Uttar Pradesh. I feel that UP’s 27 crore population will get associated with both programmes and strongly support the initiative. I assure you that UP is carrying forward both the campaigns strongly.”
Volunteers of Isha Foundation are organising webinars and campaigns to create awareness among the soil conservation and importance of soil.

Soil is though a renewable source but million of years is required for a thin layer of soil to get developed. With the
camapaign #savesoil initiated by Sadhguru with Isha outreach the people of India as well as the world are now getting awared about the conservation of this precious material ”SOIL”. Now lets take a pledge that all will
