Louis Vuitton has collaborated with FIFA to launch a capsule collection of exclusive leather goods that will be available from 6 October 2022 on their website and select Louis Vuitton stores.
The French fashion house has been in partnership with FIFA since 2010. The first collaboration in 2010 was to design a travel trunk for the World Cup trophy to be carried in.
Keeping that collaboration alive the brand will now be launching an officially licensed capsule range called the “Louis Vuitton FIFA World Cup 2022.”
Back in 2018 as well the brand collaborated with the prestigious football organisation for their Russia World Cup and designed a collection of leather goods for them.
Inside Louis Vuitton FIFA World Cup 2022
The French luxury brand has very elegantly put together a collection that adds subtle sophistication and style to the globally loved football tournament.
The collection includes five collectible pieces made of black Taurillon leather and has LV’s iconic signature Damier motif on it. This is designed to be a reminder of the way the net moves when a goal is scored and the ball touches it.
To make the 22nd edition of the game even more special Louis Vuitton has added timeless travel companions as well to the collection. These include Keepall 50, City Keepall bags, and the Discovery backpack.
They have been given more than enough compartments and inner pockets and have adjustable straps and black metallic hardware. The Keepal 50 has been specially designed to have five protective studs to resemble a pair of football cleats.
Other resemblances to football include leather tags that look like league badges with “Louis Vuitton” stamped on them in white.
There are also smaller leather goods that feature a Dopp kit. Available in adjustable straps and contrasting piping styles, there is also a pocket organiser with several inner pockets and of course the LV logo on the kit.
