The quote from the Netflix series manifest has gone underrated. The potency of this line is very deep and powerful. The show does portray a good picture of how the external elements work, work for the greater good. Let’s do the series review and decode the hidden layers and messages. The things about differences in perception, and some passengers are clever, prudent and witty. While others are dull, impulsive and submissive.
The series go like that some people in the plane goes missing and no sign for passengers is there for 5 years. People assume that all of them are dead, plane must have crashed somewhere. After 5 years and some months the airplane returns and people are awestruck. Passengers are scared and feel alienated, because their family felt bad on the loss and did move on.
It shows a good web, web of perception. The concept has been so beautifully tailored, that no one is wrong. All are right in their own place. The truth that the world did move on irrespective of them being not in place.
The passengers were on no fault and what they dealt with was solely super natural and unbelievable. They did get visions, vision of things that were about to happen and had the potency to harm the good. The passengers lost their family, friends and relatives. They all had to fight for the rights.
On the part of the people of the country, they were also not wrong. The period of 5 years was way too big. They did wait and later moved on. Now let’s be honest, it is very difficult for common man earn and feed the family. So, when family members did disappear then at that time, they did have to face grief and huge expenses in terms monetary expenses.
After going through grief and such hefty experiences, after they moved on. Now sudden return does suck up. How would they provide them now? Specially like the main female lead role was about to marry the deductive but after 5 years she finds out how her best friend and fiancé been engaged and married.
So basically, these passengers used to either visions, dreams or voices directing them to do something weird. It was deep and kind of a riddle type. At first the passengers are shown terrified and flabbergasted. Later they do accept it as a new normal. They did try to jot down some visions and connect them, a picture or clue formed that helped them in pacifying the distress.
No doubt the script of the season was very good and left our heart and eyes – mesmerized. If I summarize it as a whole then first 2 seasons were smooth and some what convincing. But the 3rd season sucks all of the thrill and uproots the joy with vague ending.
When I did google the quote, I did find out that it is some religious saying. Also, then in the third season there is mention of scriptures and the moral and mysterious tales.
So, the externals elements were very dynamic and stormy for the passengers. It was not at all stable or safe to sail the boat upon. But they did control themselves by being optimistic and problem solver. They did tackle the trouble bubble and did hope for the best. Later it was found good for all the fellow passengers and the spotted family.
