An unfortunate incident took place in the northern part of the country. In Manipur a landslide happened where seven army staffs were killed and several are missing and till now not founded.
Amit Shah and CM of Manipur booth had a meeting on Thursday, this unfortunate incident happened on Wednesday night and armies were deployed near Tupul Railway Station in Noney district of Manipur.
According to the information provided almost 12 to 13 jawans were safely rescued whereas 23 to 24 are still missing. The NDRF team has been sent to start their rescue operations.
The CPRO said that the landslide happened due to rains and damaged the ongoing project called Jiribam. The construction workers and others have been rescued and the operation is still going on.
Very soon after the incident took place the union home minister said rescue operations are in the process with NDRF staff.
He also had a meeting with union railway minister Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw and has sent two more troops of the NDRF team to rescue Noney’s Tupul.
The rescue operation is going on rapidly and the teams have been sent to the particular place.
The unfortunate incident took place in the mid night of Wednesday near the company location of 107 territorial army and they are deployed there too.
The project was going on, the construction of the railway line from Jiribam to Imphal.
According to an official statement given by the Indian army and Assam rifles that the operation is going on continuously.
Whoever got injuries will be taken care of by the army medical unit.
Evaluation of the injured staff is still going on and the river flow of Ijai river has been affected badly too in a mean while a continuous monitoring is going on by the chief minister of the situation.
