Mental health and Its medicine Yoga

Yoga is the way to connect is one of the best ways to improve your mental health. It connects your mind to your soul, which alternately enhances your thinking and depletes your negative thought, and improves your control over your body’s actions and thoughts

Mental health is one of the most prominent aspects of our life. Although it is not given much importance in our country as humans and society, mental health and mental diseases are necessary to be addressed.

We should educate people and spread awareness about the importance of mental health and how one should never neglect their mental health issues.

People have to understand that there are people who listen and will willingly want to help them to tackle their problem

But to do that the people with mental health have to come outreach to any organization like Association for the Mentally Challenged or Neptune Foundation helps people to get over their mental health or reach out to a psychiatrist for supervision

Yoga is a killer of mental sickness

Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body.

It is an art and a sense of healthy living. YA day ago, Malaika Arora confessed before World Mental Health Day.

She took on Instagram and told everyone how Yoga helped her tackle her mental breakdowns in the past. She even cried during her first few sessions of Yoga

Malaika captioned her post, ” I thought I was bullet proof until it hit me that I wasn’t emotion proof.

My breaking point came on a day while I was in my first few Yoga classes and my tears didn’t stop.

I SURVIVED THE STORM WITHIN ME. I will never call myself bullet proof because none of us are.

I will call myself stable and in the path of continuously wanting to become mentally, physically & emotionally healthy. “

Mental health is not just we common people celebs like Malika have experience it too it is difficult time for anyone who is going through this

But we have to survive this She further launches a program #mySARVAstory where she asked people to write their story and wrote “we are listening”

Now let’s talk about some Asanas which are helpful in mental health

This yoga pose lengthens the spine and stretches the hip muscles. The stance is soothing, reducing anxiety as well as mental and physical tiredness.

Balasana (Seated forward bend)

Balasana is a terrific position for the lymphatic and neurological systems, and it also helps relax the mind by releasing stress.

It stretches the thighs, hips, and ankles muscles, as well as providing relief from backaches and neck difficulties.

This exercise is excellent for stretching the entire back as well as the hamstrings. It relieves tension and weariness and improves digestion and liver function, as well as PMS symptoms.

Uttanasana (Standing forward bend)

The Uttanasana not only calms the mind but also energizes the kidneys and liver. It is also beneficial to the lower body muscles, including the hips, knees, hamstrings, and calves.

Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)

The Bhujangasana stretches the muscles in your chest and shoulders. It relieves lower back pain and weariness right away, and you have a renewed sense of vigor.

It also strengthens and stretches the entire spinal column. In addition, this stance aids in the reduction of belly fat.
