Bollywood’s charming and handsome hero Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming movie Mission Majnu is already in the limelight. Siddharth and Rashmika will be seen in lead roles. To further increase the excitement of the fans, the makers of the movie have released the teaser of the movie.
Rashmika after making her Bollywood debut with ‘Goodbye’, she is now gearing up for the release of her second Hindi film, Mission Majnu.
This film is directed by Shantanu Bagchi. Siddharth will be seen playing the role of an Indian spy who spies on Pakistan and Rashmika will be seen in the role of his girlfriend who is visually impaired and is from Pakistan.
The teaser also gave a glimpse of Siddharth’s tremendous action in the movie. On the other hand, for the first time, viewers will get to see Rashmika and Siddharth’s onscreen chemistry in this movie.
In this film, Siddharth will once again be seen as a patriot, his character in the movie is of a RAW agent who will spy on Pakistan by becoming an undercover agent.
The story of the film is being told based on the 1971 war of India-Pakistan. 1971 can be seen written in the beginning of the teaser, this film is inspired by true stories.

Siddharth Rashmika paired for the first time in Mission Majnu
In the teaser of the film, the actress is seen in a beautiful bridal outfit while Siddharth can also be seen in the same scene as a groom with a turban on his head. Siddharth and Rashmika are getting married according to Islamic religion, fans are very excited to see both of them together for the first time.
Apart from Siddharth and Rashmika, the film also stars Parmeet Sethi, Mir Sarwar and Zakir Hussain in pivotal roles.
Talking about this film during an interview, Siddharth said that he is playing the role of a detective for the first time and I’m very excited for this movie.
This film will be released on OTT platform Netflix on 23 January 2024.Â
The release date of the film Mission Majnu was changed twice, earlier the release date of this movie was fixed in May 2022 but due to some reason its release date was skipped to June 2022.
The date of June 2022 was also skipped to January 2024, earlier this movie was going to be released in theaters but now it will be released on OTT platform.
Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Thank God alongside Ajay Devgan and Rakulpreet Singh, this film flopped badly at the box office.
Rashmika was seen in the film ‘Goodbye‘ and made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Rashmika was also seen in blockbuster movies like Pushpa, opposite Allu Arjun in the lead role, she is one of the well-known heroines of Telugu film industry and recently she has entered the Bollywood industry.
Upcoming Projects of Siddharth and Rashmika
Apart from Mission Majnu, Siddharth will be seen in Yoddha. In this film, Disha and Raashi Khanna are in the lead role along with Siddharth. Apart from this, the actor will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s film Indian Police Officer, this film will be released on the OTT platform.
Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, will be seen in Animal with Ranbir Kapoor. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
