Those who were against this film, it is a befitting reply to them and the jury who called this movie a vulgar and propaganda-based film, maybe they would have got the answer today that people are really liking this movie”.
“I won’t say anything argumentative on this topic, but it is a very sorrowful thing that our film The Kashmir Files was not even given permission to appear in the theaters here but reached the Oscars. I wish all the rest of the films in the list from India be the best for the future”, Mithun said.
Film director Vivek Agnihotri and actor Anupam Kher also expressed their happiness
Vivek Agnihotri also expressed his happiness that his film was included in the Oscars eligible list, while on the other hand, Anupam Kher while talking to the media about his movie expressed happiness.
Anupam Kher said, “The Kashmir Files made it to the Oscars eligible list, it is a matter of success and achievement for everyone. This sad story of Kashmiri Pandits living in the Kashmir valley was hidden from the people for 32 years and when this film was released people saw the truth and liked this film a lot, along with liking it, many people were also seen commenting against it”.
He added, “Not only this film but I am also shortlisted for the Best Actor award, and it is a very happy thing for me. 4 other movies from India also have been shortlisted; I wish them all the best for future”.
Anupam also talked about the statement of Nadav Lipid, he said, “This is the time to be happy, not to remember those people who just want fame, what to talk about them or give any answer to them. The Kashmir files are being liked by the viewers. This film is different from the rest of the films because people have not expressed happiness because of its success, you can get the answer of this thing only from social media, we don’t need to reply to anyone, nor does the director of this film need to reply to anyone, everyone will get their answer on their own when the time comes”.
