The 35-second exchange between an eight-year-old girl and a NASA astronaut has resurfaced online and is circulating on social media.
Recently, a conversation took place between an eight-year-old girl and a NASA astronaut stationed aboard the International Space Station (ISS) through the use of her father’s ham radio. People’s eyebrows were raised as a result of the extraterrestrial contact, and their conversation was widely disseminated across social media. Now, the 35-second conversation has resurfaced again, and, just as was to be expected, it is gaining a significant amount of traction on social media.
The ISS Research page, which bills itself as “Nasa’s official source for research and science from the ISS,” was the one who first posted the conversation on Twitter. It was recently redistributed once again on Instagram by a page known as Positive news. A portion of the in-depth caption that was posted on Instagram read as follows: “Matt Payne, who resides in Kent, England, introduces his daughter Isabella, who is 8 years old, to his interest and passion for amateur radio (ham radio).”
“The two people, father and daughter, used their radio to make a call on August 2nd. They were taken aback when the call was successfully transmitted to the International Space Station. Kjell Lindgren, who was the commander of NASA SpaceX Crew-4, could be heard on the other end of the line, “it added.
Isabella had a conversation with Kjell Lindgren, the commander of NASA SpaceX Crew-4, and Lindgren shared with her how he felt about their conversation.
After being reshared daily on Instagram, the conversation has amassed over 2.8 lakh likes and hundreds of comments since it was originally posted. “Wow!!!! This was totally amazing, “an individual who posted it. Another user expressed their sentiment using heart emoticons, saying, “My freaking heart is so precious.” “How amazing! Ham radio is truly an amazing form of communication technology “one of them was a third. “My eyes welled up with tears as a result. You might run into this girl someday on Mars “commented a third on the matter. One commenter said, “As someone who grew up with their dad as a HAM, this brought all the feels.”
