In a recent interview, Natalie Portman finally opens up about the chance to return to the star wars franchise, as the reports of the next instalments are doing rounds. Portman confirms that she is willing to return to the franchise.
Portman is best known for her work in some of the most notable films in Hollywood like The black swan, Thor, and star wars. She earned a lot of love from the audience for her character of Padme Amilda in the star wars franchise. Her final appearance in the franchise was 18 years ago in star wars: revenge of the Sith. She leaves the franchise as her character Padme dies while giving birth to two kids.
While answering fan questions during the ‘Actually me’ segment of a GQ interview, a fan asked Natalie Portman if she would ever return to the star wars franchise, as the series has a history of dead characters returning unexpectedly.
To the excitement of fans, portman says that she had no idea about it but if there is a chance, she would be open to being a part of it again.
Earlier in 2022. Director Taika Waititi who collaborated with Natalie Portman for the superhit film Thor: love and Thunder, said that he had forgotten that Portman was a part of the star wars franchise. Recalling the same, she says that Waititi asked her if she ever wanted to be a part of the star wars franchise to which she simply replied that she was a part of it.
