The Haryana district of Nuh’s curfew had been relaxed on Monday from 9 am to 1 pm to permit public movement.
According to police, 156 persons have been detained and 56 FIRs have been filed in relation to the violence and rioting that occurred in Haryana’s Nuh district on Monday.

Authorities have made 156 arrests and filed 56 FIRs in relation to the violence and rioting that occurred in Haryana’s Nuh district on Monday. According to officials, there have been six deaths and 88 injuries to date in the district.
Following communal disturbances in Nuh on Sunday, masked motorbike riders vandalised stores and caused injuries in Panipat. Police have detained 15 individuals and are questioning them. Police described the attackers as young men in masks between the ages of 20 and 25.
Javed Ahmed, a Sohna native and leader of the Haryana Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is accused of inciting a mob to attack Pradeep Sharma, a member of the Bajrang Dal, and his associates during the past week’s racial riots in Nuh.
Ahmed, though, has denied allegations of his involvement. He states that he was “100 km away” during the incident.
The district of Nuh is still anxious in the wake of last Monday’s rioting, subsequent communal violence, and the destruction of property by bulldozers. The deputy commissioner and police chief of Nuh increased outreach there by visiting a number of villages and pleading with locals to help identify those responsible for the violence on July 31.Â
The deputy commissioner, Dhirendra Khadgata, and the superintendent of police, Narendra Bijarniya, also made contact with village elders and participants in peace committees to work on fostering fraternity.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke online to the Haryana Kshetriya Panchayati Raj Parishad.
The Curfew
On Monday, August 7, from 9 am to 1 pm, the District Magistrate’s decision removed the curfew for the public’s freedom of motion in Haryana’s Nuh district.
Banks and ATMs will reopen on a trial basis following a week of confrontations in Haryana’s Nuh district over a Vishva Hindu Parishad march. An official has said that on Monday, banking institutions will operate for a brief period of time in the municipalities of Nuh, Tauru, Punhana, Ferozepur Jhirka, and Pingawan.
In accordance with a directive from District Magistrate Dhirender Khadgata, banks and ATMs will be operational on August 7 for testing purposes. ATMs will be open until 3 pm, and banking transactions will be accessible from 11 am to 2 pm.
On Sunday, Dhirendra Khadgata stated that the district’s internet ban would be in place until things were back to normal, despite the fact that illegal structures in the fiercely charged Nuh were being taken down. During the clashes, it is said that stones were hurled from these structures at a religious procession.
The Internet ban will continue for the time being. We will improve the issue as soon as we see changes. When the curfew is removed tomorrow, the people will be able to walk around for an additional hour, according to Dhirendra Khadgata.
The Struggles Faced by the People in Nuh
Soni Chowdhary stated, “Our travel is long, and we don’t have enough money to buy much food. Soni is a member of the group of migrant workers leaving Nuh. They claim they have no choice but to return to their hometowns after their slum community was destroyed during communal rioting in the neighbourhood on July 31. All of the family’s remaining possessions were wound up in bundles as they left Nuh Chowk, the location of the July 31 brawl that broke out during a religious procession, reported  The Times Of India.

The violence that started in Nuh over an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad march and expanded to Gurugram over the past few days claimed the lives of six persons, including two home guards and a cleric.
