After this incident, the Ministry of Home Affairs furnished a sombre letter alleging that the Punjab government had stalled additional garrison security to assure any movement by road. On Friday, the Supreme court heard a solicit over the “security lapse” and ordained the registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana HC to “seize and secure” all documents affiliated to PM Modi’s Punjab tour from the state police and central agencies.
