Dale Steyn, a former South African speedster, tagged Pakistan Cricket Captain, Babar Azam as the ‘best batsman’. During a Q&A session, Dale while answering one of the fan questions on who is the best ‘all-format batsman’ according to him, in the current generation of players, named the Pakistani batsman as his choice.
The answer to questions like ‘who is the best’ leaves never-ending debates among the crowd. But the pacer locked his answer on Pakistan’s current captain. He went on to commenting, that he is ‘pretty darn good’. Twitter handler Zainab posted the question,
“Who’s the best batsman across all formats currently in your opinion?”
The motivation and encouragement shown by the legendary cricketer towards the building talent were exemplary. Steyn did not stopped with Babar Azam. On the another question posted by Dale Steyn about his visit to Pakistan, the retired cricketer said that he has a fishing date with Azam Khan.
And the question “Would you like to visit Pakistan” was posted by Luqman. On the question of who is his inspiration. Dale replied it was Armaan Malik. Shahzad Khan questioned “Your inspiration?”.
Talking about Babar Azam, he is one of the top-ranked batters in men’s ODI (One Day International) and T20 (Twenty 20) rankings. And is also under the top 5 longest format game players. He ranks in the ICC (International Cricket Council) batter across all formats of games.
For his outstanding performance in Pakistan vs Australia, he was awarded the player of the month. In his last 5-day match, he had scored a double century and the spring continued in the other two 5-day series matches.
Azam was the highest run-scorer in the T20s. He scored 66 runs out of 46 balls only.

Dale Steyn had picked up talents from the list and has recognized them. Steyn had admitted it on the Social Media platform, Twitter. He announced his retirement on 31 Aug, 2021 through a social media post.
Steyn had played some unforgettable shots and has created history. Along with it, he has engraved his name with some extraordinary performances.
