Priyanka Gandhi, the AICC general secretary, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were “bade miyan” and “chhote miyan” and that their governance is only visible in advertisements during a roadshow to campaign for Congress candidates from Ludhiana ā Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Surinder Dawar, Rakesh Pandey, and Sanjay Talwar.
She further accused the BJP and AAP of using religious and sentimental feelings for political advantage. “Modiji’s administration exists solely in commercials.” In this country, there is no government. There would have been jobs and no price increase if there had been government.”
She remarked that impoverished people, small traders, and small enterprises face several challenges while speaking at the Congress’ “Navi Soch, Nava Punjab” rally in Pathankot. She said that a total of Rs 2,000 crore is spent on public relations.
“Both exploit religion and feelings to conduct politics,” she remarked, referring to the BJP and the AAP. “They aren’t involved in development.” RSS is responsible for both. While one sprang from the RSS, the other is the result of the RSS’s sponsorship of the Anna Hazare campaign. “One was the first to bring up farm legislation, while the other was the first to inform them,” Priyanka explained. She said that the 111 days of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s administration were significantly superior to the seven years of Delhi’s Kejriwal administration.
PRIYANKA GHANDHI VADRA CLAMIED
Priyanka claimed she was married into a Punjabi family and understood the meaning of Punjabiyat. “I laughed when I heard Modi and Kejriwal talk about Punjabiyat.” How would they comprehend Punjabiyat, I wondered? It is necessary to live it to understand it. Punjabiyat refers to a feeling. One of them has spoken to you about Punjab, and Punjabiyat has bent before his millionaire pals, and the other is Kejriwal. He can turn before anyone in politics and power,” she remarked.
When farmers protested for over a year at Delhi’s borders against three agricultural regulations, the Congress leader claimed, Modi had time for international travels but couldn’t drive a few kilometers to listen to their concerns. They were forced to spend a year on the road. “The Prime Minister traveled to Pathankot on Wednesday to the campaign, but he was unable to meet farmers demonstrating against agricultural rules because he was just a few kilometers away from his home.”
He went on a trip to the United States, Canada, and other countries, buying two planes for Rs 16,000 crore for himself. Still, the country’s sugarcane farmers’ outstanding arrears of Rs 14,000 crore were not paid.” She went on to say that the BJP was referring to farmers as “terrorists,” which she claimed was unacceptable since farmers create food and ought to be appreciated.
“On the other hand, Kejriwal is shaking hands with extremists in Punjab to get power, which reveals their attitude,” she added, adding that both Modi and Kejriwal aim to gain power in Punjab by unfair methods. She claimed that Congress was the only party in Punjab that could provide stability.
