Rahul Gandhi recently did the Bharat Jodo Yatra with many political leaders and authority people on the go. On the occasion of Diwali, Rahul Gandhi wished all the participants of the Bharat Jodo yatra and also gave gifts to everyone who participated in the yatra.
Silver coins and sweets were given to them as a gift for participation in the Baharat Jodo Yatra. He also wished everyone to have faith in India’s truest values and destroy hatred on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
What did Rahul Gandhi do for the participants of the Bharat Jodo Yatra?
Rahul Gandhi wrote a letter for each and every one who participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, a few days back. In his letter, he wrote, “We have walked hand in hand in the beautiful Bharat Jodi yatra-your faith, your belief in yourselves and in India’s true values will defeat hate and illuminate the path forward”. “ Don’t talk, act. Don’t say, show. Don’t promise, prove. I wish you and your family a very Happy Deepavali”, he added.
With the following words in the letter, the same was given to each and every person who participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra with Rahul Gandhi. The people who were with him in the yatra were also working at the camp. The official handle of the Congress party took Twitter to handle to tell people what Rahul Gandhi had done for the camp workers. The caption read, “Wow..beautiful..full of affection. On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Rahul Gandhi Ji gave a wonderful gift to Bharat Yatris, camp workers, and drivers in the form of a letter, sweets, and silver coins- which they will never forget.
Why did Rahul Gandhi launch the Bharat Jodo Yatra?
The main agenda behind Rahul Gandhi taking up the Bharat Jodo Yara was to unite the country against the backdrop of hatred and division in matters prepared by the BJP in the current society. He also wanted to bring all the politicians, and people (irrespective of class) together under the sky.
The Bharat Jodi Yatra started from Kanyakumari on September 7th, 2022. Many political leaders such as Uddhav Thackrey, Babasaheb Thorat, and many other senior leaders across the states were invited to the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Yatra will continue till the February end. By February end, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be passing through 12 states of India.
The next stage which is online is Maharashtra (which will arrive on November 6th). The total distance covered till now is 3,570 km.
The gifts included silver coins, shoes for school-going children, peanuts, Buddha statues, and many such valuable and useful gifts for everyone. The motto of the yatra is “to create harmony among people and we (the congresspeople ) are happy. According to the sources, lakhs of people attended the event conducted on Friday, in Karnataka.
