Ranbir Kapoor apologizes for the joke about Alia’s pregnancy weight.
One of the most popular actors in Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor recently made a joke about the weight gain during pregnancy of his wife Alia Bhatt. Ranbir Kapoor apologized for his bad sense of humor and said he loves his wife and she didn’t mind the joke but he is sorry for offending the people.
Recently the Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor made an insensitive joke about the weight gain during pregnancy of his wife Alia Bhatt which made people offended and people started criticizing him for the same on social media.
The couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are currently busy in the promotion of their upcoming movie named Brahmastra which is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Ranbir made this joke and in a recent interview, he made the clarification the same.
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Ayan Mukerji are now seen together on a YouTube live session to promote their movie Brahmastra. Which Ranbir and Alia were asked why they are not actively promoting their film on that Alia Bhatt said that they will promote the film, they will be everywhere but if the question is why then they are not phailoed (spreading) everywhere, and right now their focus is …. . At that time, Ranbir interrupted her and said well I can say somebody has phailoed while pointing at Alia’s baby bump. By this Ranbir referencing the weight gain Alia because of pregnancy.
Ranbir Kapoor said that he is joking but the social media users criticized him for fat shaming his wife. Recently, Ranbir was in Chennai for a press meet of Brahmastra with SS Rajamouli and Nagarjuna.
In that he was asked if he wanted to clarify anything about the comment he made on Alia then the Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor said absolutely yes, first let me start with I love my wife with everything that I have in my life and what happened that was all a joke which didn’t turn out to be funny. He said he really wanted to apologize if he triggered anyone and he said he also spoke to Alia about the same she laughed at this and didn’t mind it and he added that he had a bad sense of humor.
Ranbir Kapoor apologized for the whole scenario and said that he has a bad sense of humor.
