Rocketry:The Nambi Effect which will hit the Cinemas on July 1, is a movie based on a true story of a rocket scientist named Nambi Narayan and it’s directed by R. Madhavan.
The film cast includes the super star Shah Rukh Khan who will play the role as a cameo journalist along with other cast members Rajit Kapur, Simran, Gulshan Grover. Though the movie will release in 3 languages (Hindi, English, Tamil) so, Saravanan Sivakumar will play the role of Cameo journalist in the movie’s Tamil version

Cannes Film Festival is a 10 day biggest film festival in the world where all the superstars come together across the world and many films/movies/documentaries are screened here. R. Madhavan will also walk down through Red Carpet with many super stars including Akshay Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tamannah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, Nayanthara, Composer/Singer AR Rahman, CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi, director Shekhar Kapur, and Grammy-winning composer Ricky Kej will grace the Red Carpet at the opening of this film festival.
Which movies will be a part of this festival?
A press note released by the Press Information Bureau on Thursday stated, “The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has today released the lineup of films that will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
The lineup includes the world premiere of Shri R Madhavan starrer Rocketry, also directed by Shri Madhavan.”
There will be 5 more movies to be screened along with Shri Madhavan’s Rocketry.

Tree Full of Parrots (directed by Jayaraj) – Malayalam movie
Dhuin (directed by Achal Mishra) – Hindi – Marathi, a bilingual movie
Boomba Ride (directed by Biswajeet Bora) – Mishing movie
Alpha Beta Gamma (directed by Shankar SriKumar) – Hindi movie
Godavari (directed by Nikhil Mahajan) – Marathi movie.
According to further news, the screening of Rocketry will be done at Palais K and the rest of the movie’s screening will be done at Olympia theater. It is to be noted that these films are not the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival.

Actor Deepika Padukone will be part of the Jury in the Cannes Film Festival this year.
In the Cannes Film Festival of 2022, the restored version of ‘Pratidwandi’ film will be screened which was made by the legendary Filmmaker, ‘Satyajit Ray’.
