Over 6.2 million copies of SEVENTEEN’s most recent album, FML, were sold out. The group accomplishes this milestone as the first K-pop artist ever. The group demonstrated once that their music resonates with people all across the world, proving that they are not just the King of various programmes.
FML surpassed 6 million copies sold.
On April 26, 2024, SEVENTEEN released their most recent album, FML. The SUPER vocalists’ tenth mini album, with more than 4.64 million pre-ordered copies, was released. They achieved this feat, surpassing their label-mates BTS’ Map Of The Soul:7 to become the first K-pop act to ever reach this level of sales. When SEVENTEEN was first released, it also held the Hanteo chart record for an album’s highest first-week sales.
According to YG PLUS, the record label that distributed SEVENTEEN’s album, FML became the best-selling K-pop album of all time on July 4 with FML. In just two months after the release of FML, SEVENTEEN made history by being the first K-pop act to sell more than 6.2 million copies of a single album.
Other accomplishments of FML

Additionally, SEVENTEEN debuted at the top of Billboard’s Artists 100 chart, Top Album Sales chart, and World Albums chart. SEVENTEEN’s incredible musical prowess has helped them advance gracefully in the charts. As SEVENTEEN’s most recent album conquered the hearts of music lovers everywhere, fans and listeners from all over the world showered the band with affection.
More about FML:
‘FML’ (F*ck My Life) and ‘Super’ are the tunes that serve as dual-title music. ‘FML’ stands out with lyrics that express sincere criticisms, while ‘Super’ has a message that likens SEVENTEEN to Son Oh Gong from Dragon Ball Z since SEVENTEEN is expanding eternally while carrying on the ‘Career High’ march. The music stands out because of its clashing colours. A total of six songs were recorded, including the vocal team unit song “Dust,” as well as the group song “April Shower,” the hip-hop team unit song “Fire,” and the performance team unit song “I Don’t Understand But I Luv U.” To raise the album’s calibre, S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, and Dino all contributed, starting with member Woozi who serves as producer.
Achievement of SEVENTEEN:
9 months after the release of the 4th complete album repackaged “Sector 17” in July of last year, SEVENTEEN made a comeback. Just before, the song ‘World’ was released, and it adds a romantic spoon to SEVENTEEN’s coolness to create a tune that emanates cheerful energy. However, the recently reunited SEVENTEEN posted several ominous and ethereal concept art pieces, raising hopes for radically different music. Pre-orders resulted from this interest. By April 23, pre-orders for SEVENTEEN’s tenth mini album, “FML,” had surpassed 4.64 million copies both domestically and internationally.
They previously broke their record by receiving 2.18 million pre-orders in just three days after pre-order sales began, and they kept renewing the purchase volume, raising hopes for the success of “FML.” As a result, following the album’s release, attention was also given to the Initial Chodong (sales volume for one week after the album’s release). As if meeting these demands, SEVENTEEN struck it rich from the start. The album “FML” broke a record by selling more than 3.99 million copies on its first day of sales, making it the only artist to do so.
