One of the much-awaited Atlee Kumar’s films featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara film resumed shooting.
The action-adventure film directed by Atlee began its production in September 2021 and has been shot in small parts in the past few months. In February, SRK was working in Mumbai alongside Atlee for the film, before departing for Spain. The film is a long-awaited one as SRK will feature in a double role, while Nayanthara will enact the role of an investigative officer. The film will mark as Bollywood debut for the actress.
King Khan has faced a difficult few months due to a personal situation involving his son Aryan Khan. He took a forced break from work last year. His son, Aryan Khan was granted bail in a narcotics case, and it’s just been a little more than three months now since the incident. SRK is now ready to resume his job responsibilities after taking care of family matters.
Progress thus far
Shah Rukh Khan did shoot for Atlee’s film before departing to Spain for the ‘Pathaan’ shoot. The shooting for the film began in Pune, and later the schedule of the film was adjusted in between the ‘Pathaan’ shooting. Atlee and SRK first met during the IPL after which the two decided to work on a project with each other.
SRK never wanted to be a part of any remake and therefore a new script was written for him. Atlee’s film is believed to be an action-packed movie. Reportedly, SRK will play a double role in the movie and there are speculations that the roles are possible of a father and a son. 
Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover will also feature in important roles within the film. Atlee is one of the most successful Kollywood directors so the expectations from the collaboration between him and SRK are immensely high.  Though Siddharth Anand‘s Pathan will act as a comeback movie for SRK, the Atlee directorial, which is a home production, will also be quite crucial for SRK.
