With the release of the first promo, Shark Tank India is officially back for its season 2. One of the sharks from season 1, Ashneer Grover, will not be returning this time around.
What’s in the promo of Shark Tank India season 2?
The channel unveiled the season 2 trailer of the well-known reality series Shark Tank India on Tuesday, evening. The programme premiered on Sony Entertainment Television, and when it made its debut last year, it was a breakthrough punch that dominated the screens. With the prominent exclusions of Ashneer Grover and Ghazal Alagh, the entrepreneurship-focused show is now back, along with the majority of the original sharks.
The promo uploaded by Sony on media platforms features a lady purchasing groceries from a cart while making a mockery of the vegetable vendor by claiming that his entire cart is only worth around ₹70.
To the lady’s astonishment, the vegetable vendor goes on to thoroughly illustrate his business plan to the lady with income in collection and claims that his cart is truly valued at ₹70 lakh. The advertisement continues by stating that Shark Tank India, which is currently back for season 2, is to blame for this development.
Entrepreneurs, known as pitchers, pitch their company concept to wealthy sharks on the programme in the hopes of receiving funding from one or more of them.
The Sharks for the Season 2
The interactions between the sharks and the pitchers as well as the unusual companies featured on the show add to its attractiveness. Five sharks from the first season, including Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt, Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Vineeta Singh, co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart.com, will return, according to a Sony release. Amit Jain, a new shark, will be joining them (CEO and Co-founder – CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com).
What new things Season 2 has to offer?
The absence of Ashneer Grover, a fan favorite, from the programme this season may surprise some viewers. The entrepreneur had developed a considerable internet fan base last season, as a result of his direct responses that frequently erred on the side of rudeness. Alongside him, Ghazal Alagh will not be appearing this season as a shark. Also, the hosting responsibilities have changed as well. Rannvijay Singha will be replaced by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua this season.
The channel has not yet provided a confirmed date for the Shark Tank India season 2 premiere. But, it is anticipated to be broadcasted at some point, most likely in late November or early December, this year.
