The film fits very much into the space of Shashank’s Dulhania series. After that, Shashank moved to Dhadak and then tried to make two action movies with Varun.
The film, once on paper, marked Sid and Kiara‘s second collaboration.
According to one source, “Shashank’s film is different from Adal Badal. Although Sunir Kheterpal has completed a screenplay, he has yet to find a director. Things won’t move forward in this film until Adal Badal’s team has a director on board,” added the source.
Shershah succeeds in Box’s office
After following their beautiful chemistry in the 2021 war drama Shershaah, which starred Sidharth Malhotra the late Captain Vikram Batra, and Kiara Advani playing his love affair Dimple Cheema, the alleged lovebirds reunite for a romantic comedy directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar

Siddharth is next set to star in spy thriller Mission Majnu, which also marks the Bollywood debut of southern sensation Rashmika Mandanna, a yodha action franchise, and comedy Thank God in the Making.
Kiara Advani’s Telegu Industry Collaboration
Following Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and JugJugg Jeeyo, Kiara will star in Shashank’s romantic comedy Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. She is also the lead actress in the as-yet-untitled movie RC15 starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan.
