Taylor Swift gives free tickets to a fan, who was harassed by a security guard at one of her concerts during Eras Tour in Philadelphia.
In a conversation with Daily Mail on Sunday, the fan who has been identified as Kelly Inglis Kelly, revealed to the portal that the singer gave her an opportunity to see the show for free on Sunday. The fan described it as the best way to spend Mother’s Day.
The incident occurred on Saturday, when the singer was forced to interrupt her concert while she was singing ‘Bad Blood’ in order to interrupt the situation on the ground and diffuse it.
While singing her song, Taylor noticed that one of her fans was being harassed by a security guard, which prompted her call him out personally from the stage. “She’s fine! She wasn’t doing anything!” said the singer loudly as her song played on.
The video of Taylor screaming at the security guard from the stage went viral on the internet and now, Kelly has revealed details as to what exactly happened.
Labelling the security guard as “crazy,” she explained to the outlet that he started screaming at her while she was “just dancing.” She added that the guard was being very strict and did not permit her and her friends to click pictures in front of the stage.
Kelly, who is a teacher by professor, claimed that she and her would be scared of the guard as they would stand back every time he passed by, out of fear that he might throw them out.
The teacher added that the guard had been “really annoyed” and was behaving in the similar way the whole night. She also clarified that she was not planning on doing anything outrageous like getting to the other side of the barrier. She believes that Taylor wants people to come to her concert and have fun.
Speaking of Taylor’s Eras Tour, the singer is currently two months into her five months tour, which made her face some of the bumps along the way.
One of the major challenge in this trip was at the Nashville concert, where the attendees were forced to take shelter in place for hours due to heavy rains, proving the night to be quite chaotic. However, Taylor was appreciated as she continued her performance despite the heavy rains.
It has been revealed by one of the concertgoers, as per Page Six, that due to the crowd closely packed together, some of the fans experienced panic attack, while others threw up and some even passed out.
Taylor also sustained some injuries along the way. The fans noticed, during her April 23 show in Houston, that she had a nasty gash on her left hand. She later addressed the concerned fans via Twitter that she is “totally fine” and it was completely her fault.
Despites the challenges along her tour, singer’s new beau, Matt Healy, had been there with her to support her both on and off the stage.
