According to a source, Tom Morton, the global chief strategy officer at advertising agency R/GA says the company’s transformation is more simply Musk’s way of putting his stamp on the company as he tries to make his mark. Musk has announced plans to build an app that will offer a multitude of services, such as peer-to-peer payments, akin to the Chinese app WeChat, as part of his initiative since taking over Twitter in October.
According to images obtained by a media source, X logos were projected inside Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters on Monday, and conference rooms were given new names that included the letters X, such as “eXposure,” “eXult,” and “s3Xy.” Workers also started taking down bird-related decor, such as a huge blue logo in the cafeteria. Prior to being halted by the San Francisco Police Department for carrying out “unauthorized work,” workmen outside the building removed the first six letters of Twitter’s name.
