Russia Ukraine War: Russian intense airstrikes are turning to lay sieged for Mariupol into the “ashes of the dead land, while the West plans more new sanctions to punish Moscow.
On Tuesday, two “most influential bombs” rocked Mariupol as Ukrainian officials made a recent attempt at rescuing civilians from the lay sieged port city Mariupol which has endured persistently shelling later Russia’s invasion began almost a month ago.
At the same time, on Tuesday Ukraine’s president said there was “nothing left” of the city of Mariupol after weeks of the Russian attack, and Kyiv pleaded to Moscow to permit the depopulation of at least 1,00,000 people who wants to leave the country.

Peace talks, if Putin meets: Zelenskyy
On late Monday Ukraine, President Zelenskyy came back to offer direct peace talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, announcing the status of clashing territories could be up for a talk and a possible popular vote.
President Zelensky also told local media that he was ready to meet Putin “in any format” to discuss closing the almost one-month-old war that has exhausted several cities. Zelensky said even the status of Russian-occupied Crimea and Russian-backed statelets in Donbas was up for debate.
Russia paper criticized hackers after the report mentioned 10,000 soldiers dead
In Russia, a pro-Kremlin newspaper has alleged hackers of setting out fake news on its website after a report shortly appeared there saying nearly 10,000 Russian soldiers had been killed in Ukraine.
An online article on the site of mass-market paper Komsomolskaya Pravda, still accessible via a web archive tool, quotes the Russian defense ministry as saying 9,861 Russian servicemen have been killed and 16,153 wounded in what Moscow calls its special military operation in Ukraine. Those figures had been removed from a version of the same article visible on the website.
