Vir Das is not in favor of bringing children in stand-up comedy shows.
Vir Das, the famous Indian comedian , actor and musician who is always there to entertain people with his humorous work.
Recently Vir Das requested his fans to not bring children in stand-up comedy shows. The comedian Vir Das said that it is uncomfortable for him to make adult jokes in front of children . He requested his fans to come on his show without their children.
Even though the parents who came to watch and enjoy Vir Das’s stand-up comedy show, they don’t have any problem bringing children to the show. But the comedian Vir Das said that he is not comfortable making adult jokes in front of the children as if they could understand a word which would make an uncomfortable situation for all.
Vir Das on the day of Tuesday shared a post on Instagram in which he requested his fans to not bring children in stand-up comedy shows by saying and sharing an anecdote that a couple bring a three year old child on his show and to take care of the same is super tough he added that he appreciates the ones who are able to arrange babysitters and etc. to come out.
And they said she will not understand anything . But Vir Das said that he is not comfortable making adult jokes in front of children. What if children understand a single word. On this the audience would also be uncomfortable laughing too.
Vir Das said that these are small rooms full of adults and stand-up shows are not a place for kids . He also said that the fringe festival also arranges and offers hundreds of amazing shows for kids, some of them he will also go to see too.
Vir Das said that he understands that all of them want to come and see him and his performance but he is not able to do this material in front of kids . And lastly Vir Das said in his note that was shared on instagram that he hopes that this is right and he will see and meet his fans in the next show soon and thanked the fans.
