In these times when technology is so accessible, it would not take me long to tell you that the climate is malfunctioning. We have started to reach a point where the normal concept of an easy life will not be tangible anymore.Â
People across the world are enslaved to misery by the fate decided by mother nature. It seems like she is reiterating to us the account of her coming out green about the gills. Â
The human world starts to plunge into an unassailable truth where it pays the price while encountering the climate dismantling us.
But is this cursed Q that questionable? Aren’t we already aware of where all this is coming from? If we are still alive, in no time we will find ourselves dwelling at Death’s door.Â
We, with our gifted coruscation, cannot be blind to the fact that human-induced capitalism and ambitious economic expansion are the driving forces of current-day climate change. The human world has played with its surroundings like it’s nobody’s business without spending a second thought about it and is now being played at the hands of Gaea.Â
The term “capitalism” is still a very abstract term to the average crowd. It is all the result of the higher groups’ being convinced regarding their undeniable human ingenuity and thinking that it is okay to convert natural resources into fungible commodities and promising money-drawing sources.Â
But the question is, at the cost of what?
MANSLAUGHTER through slow poisoning, which apparently looks like a lackadaisical exponential downfall but is rather fast-paced.
The socioeconomic benefits of capitalism are not a very fair reason for us to ignore the undesirable consequences of environmental degradation. It all seems like a very big jump from doing our thing like there is no tomorrow to finding ourselves admittedly frightened and crying for help in the mouth of despair and uncertainty.Â
Adverse climate change is the direct result of the mass consumption of fossil fuels and natural resources. Our obsession with fossils has led to us devouring them to the extent where we are standing in the middle of a vicious global crude oil and natural gas crisis with absolutely no active plan about how we are going to tackle them.Â
Even with all the intelligence, the rate at which nature has amended its course could not be confounded. Now we stand in a situation where the status of our well-being is not very promising and our daily lives are being quashed.Â
Here are some insights into the events that are taking place across the world due to climate change:Â
- Uganda: 15 people have been killed in a massive landslide that was a result of the heavy quantity of rainfall received in the region of Kasese.Â
- In Pakistan, almost a third of the entire geographical area of the southeast Asian country is in the middle of the most vicious and deadly floods in its entire history. It is reported that thousands of lives are ending without even getting the chance to receive aid and help.Â
- The first week of September encountered heavy torrential rainfall in the villages of Plovdiv and parts of central Bulgaria, resulting in flooding that has left irreversible damage to public as well as private infrastructure, making it difficult for life to sustain for now.Â
- Australia: Lismore is going through its second round of floods in a month.Â
- Typhoon Hinnamnor triggered flash flooding and landslides in regions of South Korea on September 6, which resulted in a few being killed and others remaining unaccounted for. Four were found dead in the flash flooding as a result of heavy rainfall in certain parts of Mexico after an entire year of drought in the region.Â
- In China, the country recorded its highest temperature rise in the last six decades as a result of heatwaves that swept across the country, leading to severe droughts in specific parts and damage to crops, creating shaky grounds for human life to sustain.Â
- California: South California experienced continuous heavy rainfall due to the tropical storm in the area. It is said to hit the drought-stricken areas with megafloods.Â
- Europe: Wildfires have broken out in the countries of Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy, along with other parts of the massive heatwave that is blowing over the continent. Europe is said to have recorded its highest temperature in the last 500 years, leading to the loss of human lives as a result of unbearable heat.
