In southwest Delhi, two bike-riding guys are accused of throwing an acid-like substance at a 17-year-old girl on the street close to the Dwarka Metro station, according to police.
The man who flung acid at a schoolgirl in Delhi’s Dwarka, according to Bharatiya Janata Party MP Gautam Gambhir, should be publicly executed by the authorities, he said on Wednesday.
In southwest Delhi, two bike-riding guys are accused of throwing an acid-like substance at a 17-year-old girl on the street close to the Dwarka Metro station, according to police.
“Words fall short of doing justice. We have to make these animals fear excruciating pain.
Authorities must publicly execute the boy who flung acid at a schoolgirl in Dwarka, tweeted a lawmaker who had previously played cricket and appeared furious.
The injured child was taken urgently to Safdarjung hospital, where she is receiving care. The cops stated that her initial treatment reports are good.
“After the injured girl voiced suspicions about two people she knew, one person was apprehended. We are interrogating the person in custody. Additional investigation is ongoing, according to Harsha Vardhan Mandava, deputy commissioner of police for Dwarka.
Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister, stated that the perpetrators should receive the harshest penalty.
“This is completely intolerable. How did the thugs gain such bravery? The harshest penalties should be meted out to criminals. We care about the protection of every girl in Delhi,” Kejriwal said.
Around 9 am, the Mohan Garden police station received a call about the incident, according to DCP Mandava. When two males on a bike flung an acid-like substance at the girl and her younger sister while they were together, they fled. The girl attends a private school in Dwarka and is a class 12 student.
Although the precise cause of the alleged acid assault is unknown at this time, police have opened an investigation and are looking into all potential causes.
In addition to looking for motorcycles, the police are looking through CCTV cameras placed around the region to determine the routes the suspects traveled before and after the crime.
If an acid assault on a school student were to occur in Delhi, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) would like the Delhi Police to arrest the perpetrators and punish them severely.
Swati Maliwal, the DCW’s chair, said: “The Delhi Police has been given the notice to apprehend the perpetrators and punish them severely.” The victim’s family is receiving our assistance. However, the most important query here is why, despite numerous notices, the retail sale of acid is still allowed.”
