K-pop Soloist and American Rapper Jessi leaves PSY’s agency P-nation after after the expiration of her contract. P-nation released the update on Newsen about Jessi’s contract expiration and she will not renew her contract.
P-nation released a statement on Jessi’s leaving the Company. Read the note below:
“Hello, this is P NATION.
First of all, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone for their love and support for Jessi.
This notice is to inform you that our exclusive contract with Jessi has recently expired.
As the first artist of P NATION and being with the company until now, Jessi has become an artist that has been loved even more by her fans due to her constant effort and passion.
The way she conducts herself and her achievements have been a positive and enjoyable influence on all of the members of P NATION.
We will continue to support Jessi’s future works as an artist and support her various activities.
Thank you to the fans who cherish Jessi and please continue to give her your support.”

Jessi first debuted in South Korea in the year 2005. The Singer was a temporarily a member of a group called “Uptown” in 2006. She worked as an Artist under an entertainment company YMC.
After the end of her contract with YMC, she signed a contract with PSY’s agency P-nation in 2019. She was the first artist signed under P-nation and after then she started working as a soloist and released some of the most popular song in K-pop.
She became really successful as her songs got recognized and positioned on the Music charts. Her highest charting single and a really popular song “Nunu Nana” and chart topping single “Don’t Touch me” were her some of the best singles. Her recently released song “Zoom” has became a worldwide hit and Trending Song.
People all over social media create videos on song “Zoom”. The best videos are reposted on Jessi’s Instagram Story.
Jessi gained her mainstream popularity from a show called “Unpretty rapstar” where she was placed second. She also served as a judge in competition shows ‘High School Rapper’ and ‘Cap-teen’, as well as a host in her own YouTube talk show with SBS, ‘Jessi’s Showterview’. She is also appreciated for her appearances in programs with comedian Yoo Jae Suk, such as guest appearances in ‘Running Man’ and ‘Hangout with Yoo’, as well as being a series in ‘Sixth Sense’.
