The President of America Joe Biden appeals to Congress for $33 billion dollars for Ukraine’s aid.
The war between Russia and Ukraine has created a lot of damage in Ukraine. The country’s economy is really bad and poor. The President of the US government extended a helping hand to Ukraine by promising $33 billion for aid purposes. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, thanked Joe Biden for his help.
Biden’s financial support to Ukraine
It is reported that $20.4 billion will be sanctioned for boosting the military and security assistance. On Thursday, Biden said, “The cost of this fight is not cheap, but caving to aggression is going to be more costly if we allow it to happen.” Biden also added, “We are not attacking Russia. We are helping Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression.”
Biden stated that $20 billion will be offered for military aid, with an additional $8.5 billion offered for humanitarian assistance. bring back the economy of Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. Another $3 billion will be donated for humanitarian relief.
Zelensky’s response

Furthermore, he expressed his hope to get the $33 billion and added, that the lawmakers of America would really support Ukraine.
Furthermore, Russia halted the supply of gasoline products on Wednesday. The countries of Poland and Bulgaria refused to pay in Russian rubles, which made the Russians stop the export of gasoline products to these two countries.
Putin’s threatening
In response to America’s support for Ukraine, Vladimir Putin threatened, “lightning-fast” if any country invades the war between Ukraine and Russia. He also added, “We all have instruments that no one can boast of, we are going to use them if we have to.” Russia is stubborn in attacking Ukraine and is in constant need that Ukraine should be controlled by the Russian Government.
