Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, had promised to rebuild Ukraine after the war. On Thursday, he said, “Russia will “reimburse” Ukraine for everything they did against the country.”Â
Zelenskyy also added that they had survived two world wars, three famines, the Holocaust, Babyn Yar, the Great Purge, the Chornobyl explosion, the occupation of Crimea, and the war in the east of their state.Â
“They wanted to destroy us so many times, but they couldn’t. We’ve been through so much. And if someone thinks that after overcoming all this, Ukrainians, all of us, will be scared, broken, or surrender, he just doesn’t know anything about us. He knows nothing about Ukraine”, said the Ukrainian President.Â
Russian troops started the invasion of Ukraine on February 24 under the attire of “special military operations”.Â
Since then, the war has stated the lives of over 2,000 civilians and at least 498 Russian troops. UN estimates that the invasion has forced at least 160,000 Ukrainians to flee and seek refuge in neighbouring countries.Â
Ukrainian Foreign Minister hails IAEA resolutionÂ
On Thursday, Dmytro Kuleba, Foreign Minister of Ukraine, welcomed a resolution condemning Russian aggression. The Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency passed the resolutionÂ
Kuleba wrote in a tweet, “World is united against Russia’s actions that threaten Ukraine and all of Europe.”Â

No doubt solution to Ukraine crisis will be found: Foreign minister of RussiaÂ
Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Russia on Thursday, said that he has “no doubt” that a solution to the crisis in Ukraine will be found.Â
Stating that Russia’s demands are “minimal”, Lavrov said Moscow could not allow Kyiv to “pose a threat” to the country’s security.Â
The Foreign Minister of Russia also disclosed that the next round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will occur later today.Â
Lavrov said that Kremlin is “ready to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine and all of Europe”.Â
He claimed that Western politicians are “considering nuclear war”, which is “not in the heads of Russians”.Â
