Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, makes a big announcement in regards to punishing all those who “choose to serve not the people of Ukraine, but the murderers who came to Ukraine”. He has decided to terminate the Ukrainian citizenship of a close ally of Putin, ‘Victor Medvedchuk’, along with three other people namely, ‘Andriy Derkach’, ‘Taras Kozak’ and ‘Renat Kuzmin’. On the day of completion of 1 year of the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine War, a round of voting was conducted in the United Nations General Assembly on the motion condemning Russia’s actions. 32 countries including India ‘abstained’, whereas 141 member nations voted in favor of the motion.
