The new look of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui from his upcoming streaming film ‘Haddi has been unveiled. It depicts the actor playing a transgender man with a blood-obsessed face while holding a butcher’s knife laced with blood. The movie’s streaming partner has also been locked with a new design. The new image features Nawaz’s persona relaxing on a chair holding a blood-stained knife while being surrounded by many women in the background. The poster also had the lines ‘Bad to The Bone’.
The movie also stars Anurag Kashyap along with Illa Arun, Ayyub, Mohammed Zeeshan, Saurabh Sachdeva, Rajesh Kumar, Vipin Sharma, Shridhar Dubey, and Saharsh Sukhla. The movie is directed by the debutant director Akshat Ajay Sharma. It is Co-written by Akshat Ajay Kumar and Adamya Bhalla.
‘Haddi’ is a crime vengeance drama that features the renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in a never-before-seen role. Nawazuddin takes on the difficult task of playing two different characters in the movie: Haddi and Harika, a transgender boy.
Last year the first look of this movie was released and the response from the audience was positive and garnered rave reviews and generated excitement amongst the audience. After unveiling the poster of the new look, it again created a buzz among the viewers in India.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui about working with Transgender for “Haddi”
Nawazuddin Siddique spoke about his experience working with transgender in an exclusive interview with News18, he said that meeting numerous people from the transgender community and playing a transgendered person during the film shoot ‘opened up a whole new universe’ for him.
I worked with a lot of trans folks in Haddi, he said, I was surrounded by 20 to 25 of them. Their perspective on the world is entirely different. That was incredibly fascinating. I discovered a great deal about their travels.
Nawazuddin also revealed the difficulty in making them appear real than turning them into caricatures. I don’t want my persona to look like a caricature, he continued. Instead of just acting the part, I want to truly become the character. And for that reason, I chose to remain with them (trans people). I’m interested to see how it ultimately turns out.
Nawazuddin’s experience working with other female directors
Nawazuddin has discussed working with female directors while promoting his forthcoming movie Haddi. The actor’s performance in Anusha Rizvi- directed movie Peepli Live captured everyone’s attention.
Later, he collaborated with Zoya Akhtar and Debamitra Biswal on the films Motihoor Chaknachoor, Manto, Reema Kahti’s Talaash, and Bomaby Takies. According to the Times of India, the actor said, “I’ve worked with a lot of well-known female filmmakers, and that really helped me. I discovered that women have a distinct perspective on the world. They are far more empathetic and perceive beauty in everything.
